PanchtaraYuwaSamrakshak Manch (PTYSM) Jajarkot is an NGO dedicated to upholding the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Disaster resiliency, social justice, Child Protection, agriculture, education, health, nutrition, and livestock services are working in the area of widespread municipals of the district, women, children, Dalit, Janajati and vulnerable communities. It works with a vision of a just and prosperous society with people having access to and ownership over resources and communities.
PTYSM has been implementing two integrated projects in partnership with Save the Children International and in collaboration with the Chhedagad Municipality to enable the environment for quality basic education, to multi-sectoral referral mechanism for child protection and building the capacity of the rights holder and duty bearers to demand child rights as a whole. Thus, PTYSM invites applications from suitable Nepali candidates for the following full-time positions:
1. Program Director – 1 (85% based in Chhedagad Municipality & 15% Head office Jajarkot)
Key Responsibilities:
The Program Director will be overall responsible to lead the organizational management, Supporting the project team in planning, implementing, monitoring, documentation, and reporting of the projects in close coordination with the Boards, and projects Coordinators. He/She will be fully responsible to coordinate and collaborate with the Local Government, coordinate with the civil society network, and policy advocacy as well. As senior staff, he/she will be responsible to supervise the large team of staff and volunteers. staffs
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master/s Degree in related development field with at least 5 years of working experience in Development Sector holding a senior position. Should have the skill of Leadership, Team Management, compliance, and risk management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policy, establishing work schedules, and monitoring. As a result, the situation of child vulnerability, food insecurity, and associated malnutrition was inflicted upon the most deprived children in this municipal.
2. Child participation cum case management officer – 1 (based in Chhedagad municipality)
Key Responsibilities: Responsible to lead the case management of the children in jeopardy(CIJ) and ensure meaningful child participation in the local-level decision-making process through enhancing the capacity of child clubs and child clubs networks in Chhedagad Municipality. She/he will be responsible for supervising/supporting the caseworkers in the case management including counseling support if needed, facilitating to organizing children’s assembly, and making documentation of the children’s plan. She/he will assist the project coordinator in planning, implementing, monitoring, documentation, and reporting of projects.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Social work/Sociology/Education/ Law or related development field with at least 3 years of working experience in NGO or Development Sector in case management, counseling, and child participation. Should have the skill on household appraisal, data protection, and management, counseling, facilitation, and advocacy.
